WE CALLED IN ALL THE LONNNNNGGGG DOGS…
AND HOSTED OUR THIRD ANNUAL WIENER DOG MEETUP IN THE FALL OF 2025!

On October 26th, 2025, we gathered all the Wieners in Texas (and beyond) at Star Hill Ranch for a day of tail wags, wiener races, “low-rider limbo” and pup cup eating competitions, and Oktoberfest themed activities!

We shattered our 2024 attendance of 530 dogs to 1,713 (!), AND our funds raised for CTDR skyrocketed from $4,500 in 2024 to over $20,000!

  • Enter your dog into our Wiener Races!

    🏁 The racecourse is a 75-foot fenced-in run where dogs will compete in each heat. At the starting line, dogs will be held in place until the race begins, then released to sprint to their owners waiting at the finish line.

    🏆 Two winners of each heat advances to the 2nd round. If your dog wins their heat, they'll race again in Round 2 at 1:15 PM. Prizes for the top four winners include goodies from our sponsors and vendors!

    🌟 $15 minimum donation to CTDR per dog

    Time: 11:00am-1pm - Round 1,
    1:15pm-2:15pm - Round 2-4

    Races on sale September 2nd to VIP Package holders, and everyone else on September 9th!

  • A paradise for toy-loving Dachshunds, brought to you by the fine folks at Austin Subaru and Subaru of Georgetown!! 🎾🐕

    This fenced-in play area is packed with dog toys, and your pup gets to enter one at a time to pick their favorite! The best part? No reservations needed—just step in when it’s your turn.

    🎁 Take home as many toys as your pup can carry in their mouth at once! 😄

    🌟 $10 minimum donation to CTDR

    Time: 11am-3pm

  • 🐶✨ A race to the bottom of the bowl, presented by our friends at H-E-B!!

    Our PupCup competitions will be available to walk-ins during the event.

    About the Contest

    Ten dogs will face off to see who can finish their PupCup plate the fastest! The winner from each contest will receive a prize.

    Time: 11:30am-1:30pm

    A series of spa treatments for your lil weenie to treat them like the celebrities they are! This will be the ultimate relaxation zone! 😄

    🌟 $5 minimum donation to CTDR

  • Last year, the pups just wanted to play, so this year, we’re making it official with the help of Tomlinson’s! We’re excited to introduce an off-leash dog zone where dogs can run, romp, and make new furry friends.

    📍 All dogs are welcome in the off-leash zone!

    Time: 11:00am-3:30pm

  • Calling all shorties!! This competition isn’t just about looks—it’s about skills, style, and most importantly, height! Homelove Health is helping us find the shortest shorty at Texas Wienerfest!

  • 📸 All hands on deck! Our Official Wienerfest group photo will take place on Main Street at 2:45pm! We’re hoping to set a WORLD RECORD so we need every pup we can get to join in the photo.

    Make sure your Dachshund is officially counted at this year’s event!

  • During the event, we’ll have two themed photobooths for your pup.

    How It Works:

    • One appointment per dog – If you have multiple dogs and want them in the same photo, a person must be in the shot to hold them.

    • You may either be in the photos with your dog or have them photographed alone, but not both.

    • Each session includes a short 1-3 minute photoshoot in one of the booths.

    • You’ll receive 1-10 digital photos via email within a week after the event.

    • Appointments are booked in 20-minute slots – You can have your dog photographed anytime within your time window.

    💰 $35 in advance | $40 day of event

    Some walk-in spots may be available, but reservations are recommended as sessions may sell out.
